MASTERWORKS MUSEUM OF BERMUDA ART

Masterworks is Bermuda’s only purpose-built museum and is home to over 1,600 works of Bermuda-inspired art, including those by famous names such as Winslow Homer, Albert Gleizes and Georgia O’Keeffe. A cross section of local artists display their work in shows on a monthly basis. There are art classes for adults and children in various media for all levels of experience. Young @ Art is a free art experience for children and is offered on the last Saturday of the month during the academic year. The museum shop, known as the Arrowroot Gift Shop and which has undergone a recent upgrade, is home to a variety of local artisans’ handiwork that is available for purchase. Salty Lime is the new vendor operating the Homer’s Café and prepares an array of fresh, sumptuous meals for breakfast and lunch, offering a perfect complement to the beauty of the Botanical Gardens. The museum and café are open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
